Perfect for families, groups, day trips and extended golf getaways, see for yourself why Hanah Country Club is a top-rated New York State Golf Destination. HISTORYLong before Hanah Mountain Resort & Country Club came to be, in 1919 Max Kass purchased a six room farmhouse and 387 acres along the East Branch of the Delaware River between Margaretville and Roxbury in New York’s Catskill Mountains. With the founding of Kass Inn, Max and his wife Sadie catered to tourists and golfers from the city and local surroundings. In 1949, they added a nine hole golf course, built by Frank Wilson of Roxbury to provide recreation to their guests. Over the years, the small inn became known for its welcoming hospitality, stunning location, mountainside golf course, fine food, and charming antiques.You'll learn every facet of the game at our golf schools , including putting, chipping, pitching, bunker techniques, specialty shots and the full golf swing. Course management and mental aspects of the game are also covered during on course training.Our golf schools are tailored to the individual. You'll be grouped according to your ability, for a more comfortable learning environment. At our golf schools, you will never be placed in classes with an overwhelming number of students. Instead, you'll be taught in groups of 1 to 1 through 2 to 1, the lowest student to golf instructor ratios in the golf school industry! Our low ratios allow you to receive greater individual attention from our PGA, LPGA and WPGTCA golf instruction staff.
